Designed to be lightweight and breathable, the upper of the ASICS GT-2000 9 Running Shoes have been constructed using a one-piece mesh upper. Acting as a lightweight second skin the mesh ensures you are able to go the distance in complete comfort. Perforations in the fabric encourage cool air to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat build-up to create a healthy environment for your foot to thrive in. The mesh fabric allows cool air to flow throughout the upper whilst, at the same time allowing hot humid air to escape so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The mesh upper also works to support the foot as you move ensuring you always feel locked in and comfortable. The reduction in seams reduces the risks of chafing and irritation so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. The mesh has been reinforced in key areas to ensure structure and support whilst the counter supports and locks in the heel. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
